“Best wedding photography I’ve ever seen!” Tell me more. This new blog features the wedding photography from Anna and Ben’s lovely summer wedding shot at Packington Moor. It was my first wedding shoot at Packington and also my last as the venue has closed due to the HS2 rail link going right through the land!
I started the day with the ladies in one of the onsite cottages to capture some of the bridal preparations and just catching that nervy morning atmosphere. It was a bit of a funny day weather wise with sunshine and spells of rain and a little breezy at times, actually one of my favourite shots is Anna’s father getting caught up in her veil as they made their way across the grounds to the ceremony room.
Some of my other favourite photos are the portraits we did later in the afternoon in the fields behind the house and also one of Packington’s resident cat! The cat photo was taken during the wedding breakfast while I was having a little time out in the gardens. My attitude is if it’s a photo taken on your wedding day, in the grounds of your wedding venue, whilst you are eating your wedding breakfast well then it is a wedding photo!
After I delivered the photos and showreel slideshow to the guys I got this wonderful Facebook review from Anna.
What an absolutely amazing photographer!
Damian is fantastic at putting people at ease – the pre-wedding shoot took us from being apprehensive about the big day to super excited for it. Damian captures all the right moments, making them natural and relaxed. All the guests at the wedding loved him and had a great time having a laugh with him. I’ve just watched my wedding showreel and cried though the whole 11 minutes of it. By far the best wedding photography I’ve ever seen. Could not recommend more.
