“Life isn’t fair. It’s hard and cruel. You have to pick your friends as if there’s a war going on. You want a husband who’ll take a bullet for you, not one who points to the attic and says “They’re up there.””
Abe Weissman in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Fazeley Studios wedding
Fazeley Studios is a stunning urban space and one of my favourite city-based wedding venues. Located in Digbeth, near the centre of Birmingham, it’s got to be the most centrally placed urban wedding venue in the country!
With a deceptively understated exterior it really does have the “wow I wasn’t expecting that” factor as you enter the main reception room. The space is absolutely stunning with a high vaulted ceiling, combined with a light and airy interior it creates a wonderfully spacious environment to get married in. Along with this are lovely art touches around the interior and it also incorporates a courtyard which is great for enjoying some outdoor space on your wedding day. All of this combines to make it a very special wedding venue.
The other thing I really like about Fazeley is that it’s situated amongst some of the coolest graffiti in the city and this makes for some quirky and different types of portraits to the usual wedding day photos I’d normally take.
I hope this little look in to Ashley and Robert’s day gives you some insight in to the unique character of Fazeley. When finished you can check out some more of my real weddings on my homepage.
