“Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter. Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been here. Here comes the sun. Here comes the sun and I say, it’s all right”.
Mid spring is a great time to get married, winter has definitely left its chill behind and the days are warming up nicely, although it’s not so hot that everyone is a great big sweaty mess! Which, as I’m sure you’re aware, is not the most conducive state to have great wedding photos taken!
Rebecca and Matthew’s wedding took place in mid May at Shustoke Barns. A beautiful barn wedding venue in the heart of the Midlands and a part from a small rain shower it was a great sunny day throughout.
I would say 95% of the weddings I cover I’m there all day. I usually want to tell the story of the complete day of your wedding. Often the best bits don’t necessarily happen in the few hours before and after the ceremony so by having me there all day I get to capture all the action. Rebecca and Matthew’s wedding was a little different in that they went for my part day package. I generally offer these for mid-week, smaller or short notice weddings and am happy to work my magic for these fewer hours (pressures on!)
I hope you enjoy looking through this quick peek into Rebecca and Matthew’s day. When finished you can view other Shustoke Barn weddings from my homepage or take a look at My Style for a better feel for, er, my style!
