For me, the most enjoyable part of a wedding day is the evening reception. The vows have been exchanged, the meal has been eaten, the speeches have been delivered and laughed at. You’ve cut the cake and the first dance is over. Time to relax, enjoy yourself.
With my dance shots I love to capture the atmosphere, the lights, the sense of movement, the fun and the joyous energy that people express when having a great time with their friends. Time for a PARTY!!
A lot of photographers only stay until shortly after the first dance but I stay until 10pm (sometimes later if it’s really rockin’)! The reason I stay until ten? Because shizzle like this doesn’t happen at five past eight!
