Fun wedding photos may have been difficult to come by in 2020 you would have thought, not at all!
It was definitely a strange one! 2020 was looking like a busy year for me with over 35 weddings booked, nicely spread out over the whole year, some great couples (as always) and shooting at some of my favourite wedding venues. I tend to mostly shoot weddings local to my home location around Solihull and Birmingham. I have a great affinity and relationship with most of the local wedding venues. 2020 has been tough on them and it can’t have been easy trying to juggle dates and keep everyone happy.
It must have been so tough for all those involved in getting married in 2020 (and now early 2021 is being affected). The venues, florists, make-up artistes, cake makers, DJs, bands and all the suppliers involved in making a great wedding. And of course, the couples themselves. I’ve had some couples have to postpone and rearrange their date 3 times!
Love has not been cancelled
I’ve decided to not even mention the treaded C word as I want to move to a more positive note for this blog. Because, although most of my weddings were postponed this year, I did have 7 weddings that took place before full lockdown measures came into effect or were ***** compliant. Love had definitely not been cancelled!

Focusing on fun wedding photography
These are not necessarily my best wedding photos of the year, they’re more my favourites. The ones that bring a smile to my face, remind me of a certain character or moment from that particular day. I normally like to feature the more candid, natural and fun wedding photos so you’ll see plenty of those as well as some lovey dovey ones!
